Richard's surgery went well......

Tuesday, Dec. 23rd: Richard is doing better and waiting to go home. When his blood count is stable he will get to go home. Maybe today!

Friday, Dec. 19th: Richard is doing well after his 2nd surgery. He is talking now, feeling better, and not in much pain. He might be able to go home on Saturday.
Wednesday, Dec. 17th, 9pm: Richard's surgery went well and lasted 30 minutes. He will be in 4 more days. He is back in room 218.
Wednesday, Dec. 17th: Richard will go back into surgery this morning at 8:30am to repair the wiring that holds the ribcage back together. It has come loose and must be repaired.

Monday, 8:30pm: Richard has been moved to room 218 due to a water leak at the hospital! Bethany went on home to Memphis since the weather was calling for icy roads tonight.

Monday, Dec. 15th: Richard is still in pain, but is up and about already. He might come home tomorrow/Tuesday! That sure seems early, but they send people home so early these days. Noah went home on Sunday and Bethany may go home on Tuesday.

Friday, Dec. 12th: Richard is out of ICU, off the ventilator, and in room 217. Phone #: 731-541-0217. He is still in a lot of pain, and has a chest tube in.


Thursday, Dec. 11th: Richard's bypass went well today. They did 1 bypass at the stint that was not working. He had 3 stints, and 2 of them were working fine. All looks well and he will be in ICU until Friday morning. Noah is staying until Sunday and Bethany is staying until Tuesday. Richard will go to a new room Friday morning so we will give a new phone number when available.
