Paul will be leaving sooner than expected for his next Chick-fil-A interim operator assignment. He will be coming home from Moline, IL either Sunday or Monday, and will be heading out for Wilmington, Delaware, on Friday (August 17) to operate the high-volume store in that city's Concord Mall. (The current operator, who is apparently very successful, is giving up the mall store in order to acquire a new free-stander.) Paul has committed to staying through the end of the year, unless the store loses its lease before then, which is currently on a month-to-month basis. He will live in a corporate apartment in the area but doesn't know any details yet. He is excited about the opportunity but had hoped for a few weeks at home before heading out again. Prayers for his health and safety while traveling and away would be appreciated.
Wilmington is at the northern tip of the Del-Mar-Va peninsula, about 75 miles from Baltimore, about 30 miles from Philadelphia. The mall gets a lot of business because there is no sales tax in Delaware on clothes so a lot of people come there to shop. Mark is already planning a visit some weekend and take a sightseeing trip to Washington, DC. Congratulations Paul!!

Good luck Paul! I am so proud especially since Chick-fil-a is my all time favorite fast food place! I could eat there every day. I could never survive in a city without a Chick-fil-a.
Sounds great, Paul. I'm thinking that if Mark comes that maybe Linda and me, and maybe David, Rachel and Elsa, maybe Candace and her family might come too. I'm sure it will be OK to stay in your apartment. Food shouldn't cost much since you can get us all that good Chick-fil-a stuff for free. See ya soon.
No problem Bill, just give me at least half a day's notice to get everything cleaned up for your arrival. I should have plenty of towels for everyone to sleep on.
hmm....even the monks don't sleep on towels....congratulations, Paul!!
How exciting, Paul! I wasn't even sure if people actually lived in Delaware. I'm sure it will be a great adventure.....and you have towels!
